Hey friends, it's Cindy here,

Seeing Yourself Right

Ever looked in the mirror and not liked what you saw? Or heard that little voice saying you're not enough?

Well, I've got news for you. God sees you differently, and He wants you to see yourself like He does.

The Mirror of Sonship

Picture two mirrors. One's all cracked and twisted, showing you wrong. That's how we often view ourselves.

But there's this perfect mirror next to it, reflecting you as God's beloved child. That's the sonship mirror.

The Bible says in 1 John 3:1,

See what great love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!

From Lost to Loved

Remember Cinderella? She went from rags to royalty. That's like when we embrace our place in God's family.

Paul tells us in Romans 8:15-16,

The Spirit you received doesn't make you slaves, living in fear; instead, it brings adoption to sonship. And by Him, we cry, 'Abba, Father.' The Spirit confirms we are God's children.

God's Joy in You

Think about my grandson, James, taking his first steps. I was so proud, not caring about his stumbles. That's how God sees you. He's not looking at your faults; He's celebrating you as His child.

Zephaniah 3:17 says,

"The Lord your God is with you, a mighty Savior. He delights in you, loves you without rebuke, and rejoices over you with singing."

No Need to Earn Love

We often think we must earn love, but in God's family, you're loved for who you are, not what you do.

Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us,

For it's by grace you have been saved, through faith—this is God's gift, not from works, so no one can boast.

Live Loved, Not for Love

When you know you're accepted, it changes everything. It's like acting in a play you've already been cast in, not trying out for it. You can relax and be you.

Think on This

  • How would your life change if you believed God delights in you?

  • Where do you still feel the need to earn God's love?

  • How can you remind yourself daily you're God's child?

A Prayer to Remember

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for making us Your children. Help us see ourselves through Your eyes - loved, accepted, and cherished. When we doubt our worth, remind us it's because we're Yours.

Let Your love heal us and change how we see ourselves.

May we live with the confidence of knowing we are Your beloved sons and daughters.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Remember, you're more precious to God than you realize. Embrace your sonship and let it transform your self-view!

Blessings,

Cindy
